SUMMARY:North Park University Basketball Summer Camp Grades 1-8
DESCRIPTION:The North Park Men?s Basketball program will hold a youth basketball summer camp Monday\, June 21st thru Thursday\, June 24th for boys and girls in grades 1-8. Session I is from 9:00-11:30a.m. and session II is from 12:30-3:00pm at the Helwig Recreation Center. The cost is only $40 for an individual session or $70 for both sessions for the entire week. Campers planning on attending both sessions should bring a bag lunch with them each day. Each camper will receive a Viking basketball\, a Junior Viking t-shirt\, and written analysis of your play. Session 1Skills and Development Camp covers detailed instruction on fundamentals of the game with emphasis on shooting.\, passing\, ball-handling\, rebounding\, footwork and defense. Session 2Offensive Skills Camp will focus on shooting and offensive moves. Campers will learn proper shooting technique\, footwork\, shot preparation\, getting open to score\, and one-on-one offensive moves.
