DESCRIPTION:Special behind the scenes tours of the Center\, chat with staff and board members\, opportunities to get involved.\n\nLive Band Euro Express for your pre Maifest pleasure.\n\nWeather should be awesome\, we will also open the breathtaking Terrasse for the season.\n\nCome Join us!\n\n\n\nThis event is Friday 17 Mai 2013 at 7:30 pm.  \n\nFree and open to the public.\n\nFull bar and food available for purchase.\n\n\n\nDANK Haus is located   block from the Western Brown Line stop.  Parking for this event is generously provided by MB Financial Bank at Western and Gunnison Avenues.\n\n \n\nThis program is partially supported by Air Berlin\, now with nonstop flights from Chicago to Berlin.\n\n\n\nAbout the Artists\n\nJohn Gunther... Drums\, Lead Vocals\, Yodeling & Cowbells.... has been singing and playing since the  age of twelve. He is a self taught musician. He picked up playing the drums by watching the drummer in his Fathers' band. Not only is John the timekeeper of the band\, but he yodels and plays the cowbells as well. John has been playing Semi-Professionally in Chicago\,  Florida & around the Country for over 40 years. We are always looking for ways to make our band better!\n\n\n\nMazurka Wojciechowska....Accordion & Vocals\n\nMaz was graduated cum laude from the American Conservatory of Music. Her passion is European folk music. She is a professional accordionist as well as a classically trained singer\, and she sings in over a dozen different languages. Maz has also travelled and toured Central & Eastern Europe.  We welcome Mazurka to the Euro Express Band and expect wonderful things from her.\n\n\n\nMartin Bappert....6 & 12 String Guitars & Vocals\n\nMarty teams up with John for the second time in their musical careers. Marty has been playing the guitar since the age of 5. His guitar playing is like no other. Marty is always striving to make his guitar playing better. He has worked with various German and  American Groups such as Stone Witness\, Alpine Combo & The Bavarian Boys. Marty is currently working with an American group called Wanderlust\, and we welcome Marty into the Euro Express Band.
