DESCRIPTION:My name is Christina\, but some people call me Tina. I'm a Gemini\, use she/her pronouns\, an introvert\, have a passion for fashion *insert Bratz theme song*\, and a first-time mama to a beautiful baby boy. Before becoming a wife + mom\, I worked with several Chicago nonprofits that focused on after-school youth programs. I love working with kids\, however\; I'm enjoying this new season of life\, motherhood + allowing time for myself to be creative \n\nA little bit about my second "baby" posy goods:\n\nPosy goods started last summer when I had my own little garden in the city. I've always loved growing flowers and cooking with them\, and quickly realized I could do more if I preserved them. This opened up a whole new world to me: pressing flowers\, making flower jewelry\, and art. I'm self-taught\, so learning everything has been trial and error. It doesn't bother me. I love learning from my mistakes and imperfections and seeing the beauty in growing. Everything is created by me and is one-of-a-kind\, with the idea that you can wear flowers all season long for any outfit. I am a huge advocate for sustainable practices where I can\, like sourcing deadstock + vintage materials\, plantable seed paper\, etc. Never in my wildest dreams did I think posy goods would be a small business\, but here we are\, and I can't wait to share it with all of you
