DESCRIPTION:CHIRP Radio 107.1FM is proud to hold its inaugural music film festival featuring eleven music-related films\, from documentaries to concert films to narrative features. There's something here for every music lover!\n\n\n\nWe'll be screening eleven films over the course of the four-day festival\, including the Chicago premiere of The Elephant 6 Recording Co. on Thursday to kick off the fest\, and a special closing event featuring a screening of Out of Time: The Material Issue Story\, followed by an array of local bands paying tribute to the Chicago power pop legends.\n\n\n\nIn additional to our screenings\, we have several other special events\, including:\n\n	Introductory remarks from director and native Chicagoan Andrew Davis (The Fugitive\, Holes) preceding the screening of Stony Island on Saturday afternoon.\n	A Q&A with Aaron Cohen\, author of the 33 1/3 selection on Aretha Franklin's Amazing Grace album following the screening of the Amazing Grace film on Sunday.\n	Closing live band event: Following the Sunday night screening of Out of Time\, A Tribute to Material Issue\, featuring local artists Impulsive Hearts\, Gal Gun\, The Feeders\, P.A. Pritchett\, Blue Ribbon Glee Club\, and more TBA.\n\nThe CHIRP Music Film Fest is a benefit event for CHIRP Radio\, a live\, local\, commercial-free radio station focused on Chicago's independent music\, arts and culture.
