SUMMARY:Yoga and Knitting with Karen O'Leary + Stacey Lind
DESCRIPTION:Mindful & Cozy Beginner Knitting Workshop\n\n\n \n\nKaren will lead you through an all-levels asana practice along with pranayama to help regulate your nervous system. You will then take some time to explore gentle wrist stretches and hand mobility so that you're ready to spend an hour on knitting together. Bloom member\, Stacey Lind will guide you through a group project: the Cozy Cowl.\n\n\nThis workshop is for:\n\nAbsolute beginners who've never knit a stitch AND folks who've been exposed to knitting but could use a refresher are welcome.\n\nWhat to bring\n\nYou will all work on the same project - the Cozy Cowl\n\nMUST HAVES\n\n55-120 yards of super bulky yarn. 55 yards for the short cowl\, or 120 yards for the long one. (You'll likely need to knit outside of class to finish the longer one by the end of the workshop).\n\nAny fiber or color you love and which feels good next to your skin!\n\n9mm straight or circular knitting needles (not DPNs)\n\nA large tapestry needle\n\nNICE TO HAVES\n\nScissors\, crochet hook\n\nFIRST CLASS\n\nYou will learn the basics and make mistakes.
